Storage dilemma: Out with the old in with the new.
As I contemplate 2012 changes to meet my growing data storage demands; I am faced with having to go to Blu-ray writer to aide with data archiving. Having over 17TB of online data with new DROBO RAID still to be deployed it is the next best thing to be able to archive but yet meet the on-demand nature of my work for clients and publishers.
The mass of old drives and other outdated solutions is a sobering sight of where we have come from and a peek of what the next 3 years of discarded crap could look like.
